OPie: Ælling
Release Notes
Ælling 5
- Added [in:khaz algar], [in:tww] and [in:delve] extended conditionals.
- Overload Empowered Herb/Deposit are now accessible via the built-in Trade Skills ring.
- Added Dornogal teleport/portal to the appropriate built-in ring.
- Added Notorious Thread's Hearthstone to the appropriate built-in ring.
- Additional items, including certain loot containers, can now be accessed via the built-in Quest Items ring.
- Adjusted Druid Shapeshifts ring to favor Travel/Mount Form for Advanced Flying/Ground mount when it is possible to shift to that form directly, and suggest a mount when it is not.
You cannot shift directly between Travel Form and Mount Form: attempting to use either ability while in the opposite form will only cancel the opposite form. - Hearthstones supporting multiple charges via the Human racial now provide correct charge and cooldown feedback.
- Fixed an issue causing talents replacing class abilities to not provide correct charge and cooldown feedback on Modern WoW.
- Fixed an issue that prevented "Close after quick action" from working in Relaxed interaction mode when the ring binding conflicted with an in-ring binding.
- Fixed multiple issues affecting specialization-changing slices for Druids in Flight Form.
- Fixed an issue causing some macro comment lines to be output to chat on Modern WoW.
- Fixed an issue causing /cast !Travel Form to not cast Travel Form.
- (a) Compatibility update for Classic patch 1.15.4.
Ælling 4
- Added [imbuedmh] and [imbuedoh] extended conditionals, satisfied when your character's main-hand or off-hand weapon, respectively, has a temporary enchantment (poisons, imbues, oils, etc).
- In Classic WoW, added [imbuedrw] non-combat conditional, satisfied when your character's ranged weapon has a temporary enchantment.
Ælling 3
- Flagged as compatible with patch 11.0.2.
- Mitigated a WoW client bug preventing Zen Pilgrimage from being used via OPie after returning from a zen pilgrimage.
- Mitigated a WoW client bug causing the client to become stuck in a renderer restart loop (becoming non-responsive and possibly crashing) in certain circumstances.
Ælling 2
- Added a UI panel action to show the Professions window in Modern WoW.
- Adjusted the name of an On ring binding release option in Relaxed interaction mode to more clearly communicate intended behavior. Additionally, the option is now disabled and a tooltip is shown when preconditions for its use are not met.
- Adjusted semantics of the argument-less [bonusbar] conditional. In particular, [bonusbar] should be satisfied when any bonus action bar is active, and conversely [nobonusbar] should be satisfied when no bonus action bar is active.
- Improved binding formatting in OPie options UI.
- Fixed an issue causing /cast Travel Form to not provide current form feedback when you are already in Travel Form.
- Fixed an incorrect error message being output when checking OPie version.
- Fixed an error that occurred in the editor UI when a slice used an atlas-based icon.
- Fixed an error that occurred when a macro referenced an invalid spell.
- Fixed an issue causing binding priority for secondary ring bindings to be excessively elevated.
Ælling 1
- This update accommodates the additional macro restrictions introduced by Blizzard in patch 11.0.0. Those restrictions, not documented in the patch notes, amount to the following: commands in macros may not trigger the execution of any additional macros. This imposes some limitations on macro length, and on interactions between action bars, macros, and addons. For example, macros that /click action bar buttons containing a macro will not cause that macro to execute.
- OPie can now execute macros on patch 11.0.0. This re-enables the functionality of the following slice types:
- Profession abilities
- Specializations
- Battle pets
- UI panels
- Mounts (druids only)
- Pet commands (hunters and warlocks only)
- Custom macros
Length restrictions may apply; macros may behave differently than prior to patch 11.0.0. If you experience problems, report an issue including your macro text.
- You can now use /click CloseOPieRing in a macro to close the currently-open OPie ring. /click supports secure command options, and, when executed via OPie, extended conditionals.
- Due to Blizzard restrictions, on-open actions can no longer be executed in response to /click ORLOpen commands in Modern WoW.
- Improved reliability of the [havepet] extended conditional following cold logins in Modern WoW.
- Fixed an issue preventing the [spec] conditional from being satisfied in OPie macros in Classic Era/Season of Discovery.
